Privacy and Data Protection - The Course
This mini course includes two training videos and a supporting workbook in which Lucy covers the fundamental elements of privacy and data protection that businesses must adhere to in order to protect your clients data and your business. Also included is a detailed guidance document, complete with checklists, to help you prepare for and manage any personal data breaches which your busines may face.
In this short course, you will:
- Learn what privacy and data protection is, and what your obligations are as a business or sole trader;
- Learn about the essential clauses within a Privacy Statement to make sure your business is covered;
- Understand what practical measures you should take to protect personal data that you process in the running of your business;
- Learn what can constitute a personal data breach, the potential penalties for such an incident and how you should prepare for and handle any breaches to be compliant with GDPR.
