Small business lawyers you don’t need a dictionary to understand
We set Lucy Legal up to be the antidote to the pale, male and stale offering that so often characterised law firms: people who seemed to live in an ivory tower and speak in circles.
We saw the grey, red and blue vibes of so many law firms, and we made ours proudly pink.
We saw the outdated ways of operating that they claimed couldn’t be changed, and said “Why not?” (And yes, maybe we said “What, like it’s hard?” once or twice too…)
If you take the passion you have for your work, and apply it to law: that’s us. As lawyers and small business owners, we know how many things there are to juggle, which is why we design everything to be as easy-to-understand and easy-to-implement as possible.

In 6 years of business, we’ve helped hundreds of small business owners across our DIY, done-with-you and done-for-you services, have sold over £100,000 worth of legal templates (which is impressive when you think some of them are as little as £27!), and have won trade mark battles for our client's against companies like Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, John Lewis and Warner Bros.
At Lucy Legal, we’re big believers in dreaming big and that anything is possible, and we’re here to help make it happen for you (whether your dreams are huge, like retiring at 35, or smaller, like an annual ski pass, which was our founder Lucy’s original financial goal for this “side hustle…”).
Meet Lucy
As a straight-talking Northerner, there’s few things I love more than demystifying legal protection to help small business owners create a successful business, and I’m lucky to do that most days.
Whenever I’m not doing that, however, you can usually find me outdoors, skiing, or in the mountains.
I’ve also run 6 marathons in 5 days across the desert, hiked in the Arctic Circle, cycled London to Paris and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, but the thing I’m proudest of is growing my business whilst raising two beautiful little girls.
